Features and History

In December 2009, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) began construction on the next phase of flood protection improvements along the Santa Ana River as part of the Santa Ana River Mainstem Project (SAR Project). During the upcoming construction the golf course has been re-configured from 36 holes to an 18-hole course. While the course configuration may change during construction, the Green River Golf Club continues to remain operational throughout the construction period.

Improvements will include building a new entrance driveway and access bridge to the Green River Golf Club Clubhouse. The new entrance driveway which will begin in the area that is currently #15 tee on the Riverside Course - will run parallel to the river and join the current entrance driveway near the current Orange Course Starter Shack.
